Artist's Conk
Ganoderma applanatum Family: Polyporaceae There were 17 “shelves” of this fungus on a living willow tree. The largest single shelf was 32 x 15 x 7 cm. There is no apparent stalk. The top surface is smooth and dry and a cocoa color. The under surface is white and bruises easily.
